There is very good news for the graduate youth preparing for police recruitment. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission has issued notification for recruitment to the posts of Sub Inspector Civil Police, Sub Inspector Intelligence, Platoon Commander Gulnayak and Fire Station Second Officer. Interested candidates can apply for these posts from today, 31 January 2024 to 20 February 2024. The application form has to be submitted on the official website ukpsc.net.in.
Recruitment is to be done on a total of 222 posts. These posts include 65 posts of Sub Inspector (Civil Police), 43 posts of Sub Inspector, 89 posts of Gulnayak and 25 posts of Fire Officer. Candidates can apply as per the released advertisement.

Qualification and age limit
Candidates applying for the post of Fire 2 Officer must be a graduate in Science from any recognized university. The maximum qualification required for other posts is graduation. The age of the applicant should be between 21 years to 28 years. Reserved category candidates have been given relaxation in the upper age limit. Age will be calculated from July 1, 2024. Candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee and processing fee.

What is the selection process?
Applicants for these various posts will be selected through the process of written examination etc. The commission has released the syllabus and pattern of the recruitment examination. Candidates can check on the official website. The exam schedule has not been released yet. Selected candidates will be given a salary of Rs 44,900 to Rs 1,42,400 (Level 7) per month.
