Good news for electricity consumers in Chhattisgarh! Government extended relief scheme. Cm Vishnu Deo Sai Extends Electricity Bill Payment Relief Scheme By Three Months On Sant Kabir Jayanti

During the Sant Kabir Jayanti Mahotsav, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai announced extension of the Chief Minister Electricity Bill Payment Solution Scheme by 3 months. Consumers will get the benefit of surcharge waiver. Many senior leaders including Governor Thawarchand Gehlot participated in the program.

On the occasion of Sant Kabir Jayanti, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai made a big announcement for the people of the state in the Sant Kabir Mahotsav organized at Sonpari Sadguru Kabir Ashram in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh. He announced that the period of Chief Minister Electricity Bill Payment Solution Scheme will be extended by three months, so that more consumers can deposit their pending electricity bills by taking advantage of surcharge waiver and other provisions. On this occasion, Karnataka Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu and a large number of saint-mahatma and Kabirpanthi followers were present.

Saint Kabir’s thoughts are relevant even today

Addressing the program, Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot said that the message of truth, harmony, human service and harmony given by Saint Kabir is a guide for the society and nation even today. He said that by rising above casteism, discrimination and social division, Saint Kabir gave the message of humanity, which is equally needed even today.

Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said that his childhood was spent among the Kabirpanthi community and the teachings of Saint Kabir had a deep impact on his life. He said that Saint Kabir raised his voice against untouchability, casteism and social evils throughout his life and showed the society the path of love, brotherhood and equality.

Planting trees gave a message of environmental protection

During the program, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh and Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu also planted saplings in the Ashram premises. On this occasion, the message of environmental protection and responsibility towards nature was given.

Development plans also mentioned

The Chief Minister said that the state government is rapidly implementing various public welfare schemes of the Prime Minister. He said that the benefits of schemes like construction of lakhs of houses in the state, Mahtari Vandan Yojana for women, PM Janman Yojana, Shri Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme are being extended to the people.

He also mentioned the Chief Minister Helpline 1076 and appealed to the people to use it as much as possible. The Chief Minister assured that the complaints will be resolved within the stipulated time and action will also be taken against negligent officials. During Sant Kabir Mahotsav, along with spiritual messages, many important messages related to public welfare and development were also given to the people of the state.
