The incident is said to have taken place on Friday night on Birhana Road. After receiving the information all the sonars are in shock. However, till now no sonar has complained to the police in this regard. According to the police, the information has come, but the matter will be investigated after receiving the written complaint from Sonars.

According to the information, Sampat, a resident of Maharashtra, lived in a rented house on Birhana Road for about 15 years and used to work in gold smelting by taking a rented shop nearby. Since his work was very good, all the nearby goldsmiths used to send their goods to him for melting gold. According to Sonars, everyone had great faith in this artisan. Since his work was very good, people used to rest assured after telling him the work once.

Now this artisan has taken unfair advantage of this trust. According to the police, this artisan took goods worth about Rs 5 crore in the last three days and gave everyone two days time to deliver the goods. This time was completed on Friday evening, but when the goods did not return to the sonars’ shop, all the sonars started calling him. By that time artisan Sampat’s phone had been switched off. In such a situation, the sonars got worried and fearing something untoward, they reached his shop. It was locked there.

After this, when Sonar reached Sampat’s rented house, it was found that he had packed all his belongings a day before and ran away with his family. After this, Sonars conducted a thorough search for Sampat at their level, but when no news was found, they informed the police. According to the police, after this incident, Sonars have informed the police on telephone, but have not yet given a written complaint. Told that the matter will be investigated after receiving written complaint.
