There is a rise in gold prices today. Gold prices have increased in big cities of the country including Delhi. Today in the capital, 10 grams of gold has become costlier by about Rs 14,00 and has reached Rs 152,870. At the same time, a rise in the price of silver is also being seen. In Delhi, silver has become costlier by about Rs 36,00 and has reached Rs 248,710 per kg.
On one hand, a decline is being seen in the Indian stock market today. On the other hand, the prices of gold and silver have increased. Not only in the spot market, their prices are also rising in the MCX i.e. futures market. Gold and silver prices were falling for the last 2-3 trading days. Gold and silver were becoming cheaper but suddenly their prices increased on Wednesday.
Gold prices increased on MCX
Gold prices have increased today on the futures market i.e. MCX. At 10 am, the price of contract gold expiring on June 5, 2026 has increased by about Rs 15,00. The price of gold has come down to Rs 153100 per 10 grams on MCX. On the other hand, silver contracts have also increased. In the futures market, the price of silver deal expiring on May 5, 2026 has increased by about Rs 4,000. Silver is currently trading at Rs 248658 per kg.
