As the date of Maharashtra Assembly elections is coming closer, the rhetoric is also increasing. In such situations, many times such words come out of the mouth which create chaos. These days something similar is happening in the politics of Maharashtra. The uproar over UBT MP Arvind Sawant calling Shaina NC an imported product had not stopped when MP Sanjay Raut’s brother Sunil Raut has given a controversial statement regarding Eknath Shinde faction’s female candidate Suvarna Karanje. Regarding which he has filed a complaint with the Election Commission.
First of all, you tell us what Sunil Raut had said. Shiv Sena’s Suvarna Karanje, who was contesting from Sunil Vikhroli, was called a goat. He had said that this goat (Suvarna Karanje) has been made a ‘scapegoat’ by the Shinde group, which will be slaughtered on November 20. In a meeting, he said that ever since the elections started, he was watching who was going to stand in front of him. He said that no one was daring to come in front of him, so when no goat was found, he tied a goat around my neck. Gave.
Suvarna Karanje complained to the Election Commission
Suvarna Karanje has filed a complaint against Sunil Raut in the Election Commission against this objectionable statement. He has written a letter to the Commission, in which he has said that Sunil Raut, the outgoing MLA from Vikhroli, had made derogatory remarks on him in violation of the rules and norms of the Election Commission of India, which govern ethical and respectful conduct in public. There is a violation.
He further said that Sunil Raut has given a very derogatory and disturbing and provocative statement in the form of a goat. He said that on November 20, the election day, “the goat will be beheaded.” They have given me the message to slaughter me publicly like a goat. Which is an insult to my dignity and also violates the model code of conduct.
Demand to take action against Sunil Raut
The Shinde faction candidate said that I immediately request the Election Commission to take immediate action against MLA Sunil Raut and arrest him. Along with this, he should be disqualified from contesting the upcoming assembly elections. Along with this, he also expressed concern about his safety to the Election Commission.
Complaint also lodged in Vikhroli police station
Earlier, a complaint was also lodged in Vikhroli police station in the same matter. Suvarna Karanje has told the police that Sunil Raut’s statement is insulting to women. After receiving the complaint, the police have started investigation after registering a case under section 79,351(2),356(2) of the Indian Justice Code.
