An electrician has died after falling from a height of 65 feet in Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. The electrician used to work in a factory producing electricity. Even on the day of the incident, he had come to work in the factory as usual. After some fault, the electrician was going up the net to repair a machine when suddenly he fell from a height of 65 feet, due to which he died.
There is a power producing factory named Sukhbir Agro Energy in Fatehullahpur Gram Sabha of Nandganj police station area of Ghazipur district. Suraj Gupta was working as an electrician in this factory for the last several years. On the day of the incident, Suraj had come to work in the factory in the morning and during this time there was a problem with the power in some machine. For which the sun had reached about 65 feet above to cure it.

While repairing the machine, Suraj suddenly fell straight on the floor from 65 feet above. Due to which he was seriously injured. The factory workers hurriedly took Suraj to the district hospital, where after examination the doctors declared him dead. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot. The police have taken Suraj’s body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Suraj’s family immediately reached the spot. After this incident, the deceased’s brother Satyam Gupta has given a complaint to the police and demanded action against the culprits. Deceased’s brother Satyam alleges that his brother died due to electric shock. Because his body was black. Due to the freezer not working properly, the police has preserved Suraj’s body on a block of ice in the mortuary.
The family of the deceased will get an insurance amount of Rs 10 lakh.
The police have started investigating the case after the family’s complaint. Police say that any legal action will be taken only after the post mortem report comes. Prince Gakkhar, AGM of Sukhbir Agro Energy, said that this incident is sad and all the employees working there are insured by the company for Rs 10 lakh. In this case also, along with the insurance amount of Rs 10 lakh, appropriate compensation will also be given by the company to the family of the deceased employees.
