The murderer son has absconded after committing the crime. The police have taken possession of the vehicle and started investigation.

Actually, this incident took place in Modinagar police station area around 12 o’clock on Wednesday night. Where 32 year old Nikhil Nehra was having an argument with his 55 year old father Hariom regarding a property worth Rs 150 crore in Ghaziabad. Within no time, the dispute between the two escalated so much that the son pointed the pistol at his father and shot six bullets in his face, chest and stomach. Hearing the screams of the father, the people and family members nearby reached the spot and their hair stood on end. The entire room was stained with blood. Somehow he immediately took Hariom Nehra in critical condition to a private hospital in Modinagar, but the doctors declared him dead after examination.

Police investigation has revealed that the accused son Nikhil used to drink alcohol and his father used to scold him every day for this. There used to be daily disputes between them on this issue. It is said that the accused son is already of criminal nature. Nikhil had also shot his younger brother Nishu about 8 years ago, but his life was saved.

Both the sons are not married. There is 75 bighas of land in his name in Modinagar and a market in front of Jeevan Hospital on Delhi-Meerut Road. Overall he has wealth worth crores. According to the people around him, his total assets are around Rs 150 crore. The police officer said that the father had given shops and 25 bighas of land in the market to Nikhil, but he wanted to get the rest of the property in his name also. Due to which the accused son used to quarrel with his father. Because the father said that if it was transferred to his name, he would sell all the land and drink alcohol.
