Loni MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar created a ruckus at Ghaziabad’s Crossing Republic police station on Friday. He has accused the police of demanding a bribe of Rs 10 lakh from an accused and sending him to jail if he did not pay it. The accused is accused of assaulting a Maulana and forcibly making him chant Jai Shri Ram. The accused, who was released on bail, informed the Loni MLA about the incident. After this, Loni MLA along with his supporters reached Crossing Republic police station on Friday afternoon.

Let us tell you that a few days ago, the case of accused Manoj Prajapati forcibly making a Maulana chant Jai Shri Ram in Panchsheel Society of Crossing Republic police station area of ​​Ghaziabad came to light. It is alleged that accused Manoj Prajapati had thrown Maulana out of the lift for not saying Jai Shri Ram. In this case, on the complaint of Maulana, the police had registered a case and arrested the accused Manoj and sent him to jail.

Police accused of demanding bribe to leave

Now the accused Manoj has been released from jail on bail. According to MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar, Manoj Prajapati met him after being released from jail and told that the police was demanding a bribe of Rs 10 to acquit him in the case and release him from the police station. Since he was unable to pay such a huge amount as bribe, the police sent him to jail. Hearing this, angry MLA Nandkishore Gurjar reached Crossing Republic police station on Friday and created a ruckus.

On the other hand, Manoj Prajapati says that the police does not have any evidence regarding him raising the slogan of Jai Shri Ram. On this basis, the police was also promising to release him with Rs 10 lakh. When he did not find the bribe, the police sent him to jail. Now his wife is receiving threatening calls every day. His entire family is scared of this incident. Whereas MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar said that this matter is not going to stop here. He will also meet CM Yogi Adityanath regarding this matter.
