In the meeting of industrial units, the District Magistrate instructed the outsourcing agencies to strictly follow the government guidelines, minimum wage and peace and order. Violations were warned of blacklisting and license revocation.

With the aim of ensuring 100% compliance with the government guidelines and maintaining industrial peace in the district, an important meeting was organized with the outsourcing agencies and contractors of various industrial units under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate.

During the meeting, the District Magistrate said that outsourcing agencies and contractors play an important role in running the industries smoothly and providing employment to the people. Therefore, it is everyone’s responsibility to maintain peace and order along with their employees and workers.

It is mandatory to follow government guidelines

The DM gave clear instructions that all contractors should completely follow the guidelines issued by the government. If any kind of unruly behavior is done by any agency or its employees, then the responsibility of the concerned agency will also be there. In such a situation, the agency can be blacklisted and action will also be taken to cancel its license.

It is necessary to follow minimum wage

Referring to the minimum wage set by the State Government, the District Magistrate said that:

  • Unskilled labour: ₹13,690 per month
  • Semi-skilled workers: ₹15,059 per month
  • Skilled workers: ₹16,868 per month

He directed all the contractors to completely follow these wage standards and transfer the entire salary into the bank accounts of the workers. Strict action will be taken if rules are violated or workers are exploited.

Mutual relationship between industry, workers and employers

DM said that industries, workers and employers complement each other. Proper operation of industries secures employment, while stability of employers also strengthens the future of workers. If industrial activities are affected, it has a negative impact on all parties and the development of the state.

Appeal to avoid rumors

The District Magistrate appealed to everyone not to pay attention to any kind of rumor or misleading information and work with mutual cooperation and trust. He assured that the state government is fully committed to protecting the interests of both workers and employers and the administration is ready to solve every problem.
