Gaurav S Bajaj Says KSBKBT 2 Actress Smriti Irani Is ‘Grounded’ Despite Being An ‘Iconic Figure’ – EXCL

After doing shows like Dhaakad Beera and Bade Achhe Lagte Hai 4, Gaurav S Bajaj has taken up an exciting project. The actor recently joined the star cast of Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain. He plays the role of Mr Patel in the television show, which airs on Star Plus. After he joined this show, Zoom did an exclusive interview with the actor. Gaurav not only opened up about doing Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain, but also recalled his meeting with Smriti Irani. The actress plays the role of Tulsi Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2. Here’s what the actor had to say.

Speaking exclusively to us,  revealed he met Smriti Irani during the first week of his work schedule. “I had this opportunity to see her. But when she is around, there’s a different energy which you actually feel, if you allow yourself to feel. It was wonderful to go and introduce myself. She was aware of the character’s entry, but I had to introduce myself and say minimal words so that it gets more recognised,” he shared.

The TV actor further praised  actress Smriti Irani and hoped to do a scene with her soon. “Despite being such an iconic figure, she’s grounded. She keeps coming, greets people around herself and interacts with the director. So, that was a great experience. Till now, I haven’t done a scene with her. But looking forward to that moment soon, and that moment will be shared by me with you all soon,” added Gaurav.

Continuing the chat, we asked Gaurav if his character Mr Patel is a parallel to Tanisha Mehta’s Vrinda in the show. Reacting to this, the actor stated hat he would want audience to organically discover his character and how it takes shape and develops further.

“So, I don’t want to reveal or say exactly what is going to happen further. What I can say is that my character plays an extremely significant role in the narrative and will definitely attract the audience for the journey. Several key points are there which are going to take place in the story, including primarily Vrindaji played by Tanisha. There are many twists and emotional things coming ahead where the audience will cry, feel good and accept me as what Mr Patel is,” he said before signing off.
