Gas cylinder prices increased for the second consecutive month, this much increase from Delhi to Chennai

There has been an increase in the prices of commercial gas cylinders in all the four metros of the country. This is the second consecutive month when the price of commercial gas cylinders has seen a rise. In two months, the price of commercial gas cylinders has increased by more than Rs 45. On the other hand, the prices of domestic gas cylinders remain the same. The last change in prices was seen in March 2024. There has been no change since then. For the 6th consecutive month, the same prices are being seen as they were in the month of March. Let us also tell you how much the prices have become in the four metros of the country, from domestic gas cylinders to commercial gas cylinders.

What is the price of domestic gas cylinder

According to the data of IOCL, there has been no change in the prices of domestic gas cylinders for the 6th consecutive month in the four metros of the country. The last change was seen in the prices of domestic gas cylinders on 9 March 2024. Since then, the prices have remained the same. The price of domestic gas cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi is Rs 803, in Kolkata it is Rs 829, in Mumbai it is Rs 802.50 and in Chennai it is Rs 818.50 per gas cylinder. On March 9, the price of domestic gas cylinder was reduced by Rs 100 and on August 30, 2023, the price of gas cylinder was reduced by Rs 200.

Commercial gas cylinder became expensive

On the other hand, the price of commercial gas cylinders has seen a rise for the second consecutive month. From Delhi to Chennai, the price of commercial gas cylinders has seen an increase of 38 to 39 rupees. The price of commercial gas cylinders in Delhi and Mumbai has seen an increase of 39 rupees. After which, the price in both metros has become Rs 1691.50 and Rs 1644 respectively. On the other hand, Kolkata and Chennai have seen a rise of 38 rupees in prices. After which, the price in both metros has become Rs 1802.50 and Rs 1855 respectively.

How much growth has happened in two consecutive months

The price of commercial gas cylinder has increased for the second consecutive month. According to the data, the price of commercial gas cylinder in the country’s capital Delhi has increased by Rs 45.5. Whereas in Kolkata, the increase has been seen by Rs 46.5 in two months. In Mumbai, the price has increased by Rs 46 in two months. Whereas in Chennai, the price of commercial gas cylinder has increased by Rs 45.5. If experts are to be believed, further increase in the price of commercial gas cylinder can be seen in the coming days.
