Madhumalti, or Rangoon Creeper (Combretum indicum), is a fragrant, fast-growing climber. Gardeners prize it for unique, colour-changing flowers. Its blossoms shift from bright white to pink, then deep red. Often, all three colours appear simultaneously on a single vine. This creeper suits fences, walls, or trellises, bringing a sweet garden fragrance. Madhumalti prefers well-drained, fertile soil. It needs five to six hours of direct sunlight daily for abundant blooming, though it tolerates partial shade. Regular watering, especially during summer, and monthly feeding with a balanced organic fertilizer keep it flowering prolifically.
