Film actor Randeep Hooda says that the country has not got independence due to Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru or non -violence. Randeep gave an interview about the promotion of the film Jat, in which he spoke openly about the film ‘Veer Savarkar’ and Vinayak Damodar Das Savarkar. During this, he said that the country could not get freedom without violence.
In Shubhankar Mishra’s podcastum, Randeep Hooda said that he did anger on Savarkar. He said, “Savarkar, I did anger in anger, not towards the industry. When I was cast as an actor, I said that I will do Hatta-Katta Jat, how will I do this picture, my face is not available.
Randeep started reading about Savarkar
Randeep said, “Then I started reading about him like this. When I started reading, after that Vikram Sampat’s book came. I read. It is so weak (changed words) that we did not get weapons against the British.
Randeep said that from 1946 to 1950-52, the British gave freedom to about 50-60 countries. He said that there was no non -violence there. After this, Randeep started studies. He claimed that we have been shown history from the same aspect and there is no mention of others.
“Independence not gained due to Gandhi-Nehru”
When Randeep was questioned during the interview, do you believe that the freedom we have got was not found due to Mahatma Gandhi, Pandit Nehru or non -violence? On this Randeep said, “Not found. What is non -violence .. You ask for chocolate by asking someone, you are talking about freedom. How can you get anything from non -violence. Gandhiji’s contribution to freedom is the greatest brother, but not only because of the same reason. Gandhiji’s image, he was involved in the country like a Common Man, he involved the country.”
