The initial public offering of Gaja Alternative Asset Management has been subscribed 4.37 times so far on Friday, August 21, the last day of bidding.
It got bids 11,07,87,273 shares compared to 2,53,28,946 shares on offer, according to NSE data until 11:16 am.
The quota reserved for retail investors was subscribed 4.71 times, while the non-institutional investors part was booked 9.28 times. The portion for qualified institutional buyers was subscribed 11%.
The ₹550 crore public issue is a mix of a fresh issuance of shares aggregating up to ₹450 crore and an offer-for-sale (OFS) component of shares aggregating to ₹100 crore.
Under the OFS, Imran Jafar, Sudesh Jain jointly held with Gopal Jain, Ranjit Jayant Shah jointly held with Mona Ranjit Shah, Sanjay Hiralal Patel, Sushane Chopra, Anshuman Goyal, Abhinav Jain and Suparna Kumar will divest their stake.
Proceeds from the fresh issue will be utilised for debt clearance, seeding new funds and corporate general purposes.
With a price band of ₹152 to ₹160 per share, a lot consists of 93 shares.
Gaja Alternative Asset Management, which operates under the Gaja Capital brand, is a private equity and alternative asset management firm, providing growth capital to entrepreneurs. The company has invested across sectors, including education, consumer and financial services.
