Kia Sorento India-Spec Model Revealed: Here’s What To Expect Ahead Of September 4 Launch

Kia India has unveiled the Sorento SUV as its latest addition to the brand’s lineup in the country. The seven-seater three-row SUV has brought in a number of new features and is likely to be the first-ever hybrid vehicle to be launched in the country from the marque.

Design

The India-spec Sorento has been showcased by the carmaker in preparation of its upcoming launch on 4th September 2026. The pictures of the exterior and interior of the Sorento have been shared by Kia.

In terms of the exterior design of the SUV, the Sorento comes in with some striking design and styling features. This includes vertically styled and ice cube inspired LED headlamps along with LED DRLs. The iconic Kia grille design makes the design of the SUV recognizable, and there is a split air intake design along with LED fog lamps.

At the back, the Sorento gets vertically split LED taillights and a sharply contoured tailgate, with the Kia badge placed prominently in the centre. The SUV also features a roof-mounted spoiler with an integrated high-level brake light, while the rear wiper is neatly tucked away for a cleaner appearance.

Lower down, the bumper is finished with a silver skid plate, with the reverse lights incorporated into the design.

Interior

Moving to the inside of the cabin, the Sorento offers a completely revamped dashboard design that consists of a dual-display setup, consisting of an infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster. The air conditioner vents have been cleverly integrated into the dashboard, with ambient lights included for a premium touch, extending even to the textured front door panels.

The interior makes use of a dual-tone beige and grey color theme that is consistent with the new steering wheel design.
