In Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a businessman’s wife was murdered by a gym trainer. After that, the skeleton of the businessman’s wife Ekta was found from the DM residence complex. Now new revelations have come to light in this case. Police interrogation has revealed that the deceased Ekta had become very angry after getting the information about the tilak of the accused.
During interrogation, the accused told that he had got Tilak done and he was going to get married soon. Because of this Ekta was very angry with him and was quarreling with him. When she did not agree even after a lot of persuasion, the gym trainer punched her and she became unconscious. She did not get back up and died.
Gym trainer was accused of kidnapping
Businessman Rahul Gupta, living in Civil Lines, had lodged a report in the police station. Rahul Gupta lodged a report that his wife Ekta Gupta is missing since June 24. As usual, she had gone to the gym located near Green Park.
She did not return since that day. Rahul had expressed apprehension that gym trainer Vimal Soni had kidnapped his wife. After kidnapping he ran away with money and jewellery.

In this case, the police arrested the accused Vimal Soni. After that Vimal continued to mislead the police. He did not tell anything true to the police. Every time during interrogation, he said different things about throwing the dead body of the woman. The gym trainer told that he threw the body in the Ganga. He sometimes said that he had killed Ekta and thrown her in the forest. When the police were strictly interrogated, they told that the body was buried in the DM compound.
What did the DCP say?
DCP East Shravan Kumar said that during interrogation, the accused told that he and Ekta had met on the day of the incident. Then he told Ekta that his tilak had been done. Ekta got angry with this and started fighting. In anger, he punched her hard and Ekta became unconscious and then died. Then the accused buried his body.
