From Tikamgarh to Vidisha, 13 railway stations of Madhya Pradesh will now look completely new. Mp 13 Amrit Bharat Railway Stations Pm Modi Mohan Yadav Tikamgarh

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 13 redeveloped railway stations of Madhya Pradesh under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that modern railway stations will give new impetus to tourism, trade and development of the state.

Railway connectivity and passenger facilities of Madhya Pradesh have got new strength. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 75 redeveloped Amrit Bharat Railway stations in 20 states across the country from Jalandhar Cantonment Railway Station in Punjab. These also include 13 railway stations of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the program virtually from Tikamgarh Railway Station and described it as an important step for the development of the state.

These 13 railway stations of Madhya Pradesh got a new look

Under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Tarichar (Khajuraho entrance), Harpalpur, Sanchi, Ashoknagar, Balaghat, Beohari, Chhindwara, Junnardev, Nainpur Junction, Vidisha, Shivpuri and Bhind railway stations of Madhya Pradesh have been redeveloped.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that these stations are not only equipped with modern passenger facilities, but also showcase the cultural heritage and local identity of the state. According to him, this will give a new impetus to tourism, trade and regional development and passengers will get a better travel experience.

Bundelkhand and railway development will get new momentum

Addressing the program from Tikamgarh, the Chief Minister said that Bundelkhand is now rapidly entering a new phase of development. Referring to projects like Ken-Betwa Link Project and Sleemanabad Water Tunnel, he said that these will strengthen irrigation, drinking water and economic activities in the area.

He said that with the continuous improvement in railway and air connectivity, tourism and investment possibilities of Bundelkhand will also increase. The Chief Minister described it as an important step towards developed Madhya Pradesh.

Chief Minister also spoke on modernization of railways and UCC

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Indian Railways is rapidly modernizing under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Referring to the launch of Vande Bharat trains and the country’s first hydrogen train, he said that India is now moving towards modern and environment-friendly rail technology.

In his address, the Chief Minister also mentioned the Uniform Civil Code (UCC). He said that the state government is preparing to move forward in this regard in the upcoming session of the Assembly. Besides, the Chief Minister also described schemes like Sugam Parivahan Bus Service and Sandipani Vidyalaya as important steps related to the development of the state.
