Chhattisgarh Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Aggarwal heard the problems of the people in the public darshan program organized in Ambikapur. Instructed officials to take immediate action on matters related to roads, electricity, water, education and health.

Direct communication between the government and the public is considered the biggest strength of any democratic system. In the public darshan program organized with this purpose, Chhattisgarh Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Aggarwal met the residents of the area at his residence in Ambikapur. After listening to the problems of the people who attended the programme, he directed the concerned officials to take immediate action and said that it is the priority of the government to provide timely relief to the common citizens.

Issues related to roads, water, electricity and education raised in public darshan

A large number of area residents reached the public darshan program organized on 20th July with their problems and suggestions. People put forward issues related to roads, drinking water, electricity, revenue, social security, education, health and other public facilities before the minister. Rajesh Aggarwal communicated directly with each applicant and listened to their problems seriously. He directed the officials of the concerned departments to take immediate action on all the applications with sensitivity, so that people do not have to wait unnecessarily.

Minister said – benefits of schemes reach the last person

During the public darshan program, Minister Rajesh Aggarwal said that the priority of the state government is to quickly solve the problems of the common people and to extend the benefits of development schemes to the last person of the society. He said that Jandarshan is not only a platform to listen to complaints but also an effective medium to strengthen the trust between the public and the public representatives. He told the officials to take every application seriously and ensure that it is resolved within the stipulated time.

Government’s focus on accelerating development works

The Minister said that living up to the expectations of the area residents is his top priority. With this thinking in mind, continuous efforts are being made for effective implementation of public welfare schemes of the government and to carry forward the development works at a fast pace.

The people present at the program expressed satisfaction at getting the opportunity to present their problems directly to the Minister. At the same time, citizens also responded positively to the instructions for immediate action. Programs like Jan Darshan are being considered an important initiative towards strengthening the communication between the administration and the public at the local level.
