The MoU was signed today for the first time for the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup 2025 to be held in Bihar. On behalf of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India, the General Secretary of the Federation Jitendra Pran Singh Thakur and the Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority cum Chief Executive Officer Rabindran Shankaran signed. Bihar State Sports Authority Director Ravindra Nath Chaudhary, Sports Executive Anandi Kumar, Sports Department Assistant Director Sanjay Kumar, International Kabaddi Federation Director Tejashwi Singh Gehlot and Bihar Kabaddi Association Chairman Kumar Vijay and other dignitaries were present.
Indian women’s kabaddi team captain Sonali Vishnu and vice -captain Pushpa Rana also attended this historic occasion. The Director General of Sports Authority, Rabindran Shankaran greeted everyone by presenting the insignia and organ clothes.

Greeting the attendance people, Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority, Rabindran Shankaran said that for the first time in Bihar, the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup from 1 to 10 June is a matter of great pleasure and pride for Bihar. Due to the cooperation and efforts of the government of development in the field of sports, Bihar is getting the distinction of organizing many national and international competitions.
The matches will be free for the audience, but for the ticket pass, you will have to register online. For those who will not be able to be available, arrangements will be made to watch matches on the big screen outside. She further said that the Bihar government is making a smooth system of all kinds of facilities including the arrival of the players who join the Women’s Kabaddi World Cup.
Indian team training camp
Jitendra Pran Singh, general secretary of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India, requested that the training camp of the Indian team should be held in Rajgir for 15 days, which will make it easier for the Indian team to mold in the atmosphere here and the players of Bihar will also get a chance to practice and learn with him. He also urged for good instructors and referees for Bihar so that the players of Bihar could do better at the national level.
