Kolkata Knight Riders continued their comeback streak after a bad start in IPL 2026 and registered their fourth consecutive win. The fourth win of the team captained by Ajinkya Rahane came against Delhi Capitals, in which team opener Finn Allen scored an explosive century. Allen played an unbeaten inning of 100 runs in just 47 balls and with this, after a long wait of 11 years, a New Zealand batsman scored a century in the IPL.

In his innings, this right-handed batsman hit only 5 fours but 10 outrageous sixes. In this way, he became only the second New Zealand batsman to score a century in IPL. Before him, only Brendon McCullum could do this, who had scored a total of 2 centuries in 2008 and again in 2015.

In this too, Virat Kohli has scored maximum 8 centuries, while KL Rahul has scored 6 and Sanju Samson has scored 5 centuries. Australia is at second place in this list, whose batsmen have scored 20 centuries. At third place is England with 14 centuries, on whose behalf half i.e. 7 centuries have been scored by Jos Buttler alone. South Africa (12 centuries) is at fourth position. Apart from these, there have been centuries for West Indies, out of which 6 are by Chris Gayle. There are 2 centuries from Sri Lanka.
