Exemption from personal appearance… Soren challenged the order of MP-MLA court

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren MP-MLA have reached the High Court against the court order. The case will be heard in the High Court today (Wednesday). The hearing will be held in the court of Justice Anil Kumar Chaudhary. MP-MLA Court had directed Hemant Soren to appear physically in the court.

This order was given in the case of disregard of eight summons of ED. Hemant Soren’s appeal for exemption from personal appearance has been rejected. This whole matter is related to land scam. ED had issued summons to Hemant Soren 10 times for questioning in connection with the money laundering case related to the case. The Central Investigation Agency considered his non-appearance despite sending eight summons as disregard of the summons. After this, a complaint was filed against him in the CJM court on 19 February.

A petition was also filed on Soren’s behalf requesting exemption from personal appearance, but the MP-MLA court rejected Hemant Soren’s petition and ordered him to appear personally in the court on December 4.
