‘Everyone wanted to make me their daughter-in-law’

He told that his father-in-law Hemant Mukherjee was the music director of that film, due to which the closeness between the two families increased. Moushumi said, “At that time everyone wanted me to be their daughter-in-law. Everyone wanted me to be their wife.” He told that after the release of the film, there was a queue for marriage in his house.
Early marriage due to sick aunt’s last wish
Moushumi Chatterjee also told that a major reason for her early marriage was her elder aunt. She was very close to her aunt and at that time her aunt was in the last stages of cancer. The actress told that her aunt had held the hand of her father-in-law Hemant Mukherjee and said that she wanted to see Moushumi’s marriage. Since Moushumi was the last girl in the family who was yet to get married, the family decided to get married soon. Moushumi told that they got married within just a month of this conversation.
After coming to Mumbai, she used to spend time with Dollhouse
When Moushumi came to Mumbai after marriage, she was very young. He told that at that time his father-in-law took great care of him so that he did not feel lonely. Moushumi said that she had bought herself a dollhouse and a small dog. She used to play with the dollhouse all day long.
