This film starring Mahaakshay Chakraborty aka Mimoh Chakraborty has recovered its budget in 7 days and has joined the list of successful films. Interestingly, the film has left behind popular films like Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’ and Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Main Vapsar Aaunga’ in terms of earnings.
‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’ earns well on seventh day
On the seventh day of its release, ‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’ collected around Rs 1.15 crore nett at the Indian box office. This figure was about 17.9 percent less than the earnings of the sixth day. Despite this, the total India net collection of the film has reached Rs 15.90 crore, while the gross collection is said to be Rs 18.65 crore.

Came out ahead of Kangana and Diljit’s films
The film was released at a time when Hollywood horror film ‘Backrooms’ and science fiction film ‘Disclosure Day’ also could not leave much impact at the Indian box office. Apart from this, ‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’ was in direct competition with Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhaata’, Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘I Will Be Back’ and Manoj Bajpayee’s ‘Governor: The Silent Savior’. Based on the earning figures, Mimoh Chakraborty’s film appeared to perform better than all these titles. The 7 day earnings of these films were as follows:

Spiritual sequel to 2011’s ‘Haunted 3D’
‘Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past’ is being considered a spiritual sequel to ‘Haunted 3D’ released in 2011. Apart from Mahaakshay Chakraborty, Chetna Pandey, Gaurav Bajpayee, Hemant Pandey, Shruti Prakash and Praneet Bhatt are also seen in important roles in the film. The trio of Mahesh Bhatt, Anand Pandit and Vikram Bhatt have reunited for this project after ‘1920: Horrors of the Heart’. The film was released in theaters on 12 June 2026.
