EPFO has started depositing PF interest for 2025-26. If interest is not visible in your account then check through UMANG, SMS, missed call and passbook.
PF Interest Credit 2025-26: If you are employed and have an Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) account, then there is good news for you. Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has started depositing PF interest for the financial year 2025-26 in the accounts. Interest amount has started appearing in the accounts of many account holders. However, if the interest entry is not visible yet in your PF account or passbook, then there is no need to worry. You can get information about your PF interest and balance in some easy ways.
1- Check PF interest like this through UMANG App
- You can also avail the services of EPFO through UMANG App. For this, first of all open UMANG App.
- Go to EPFO Services option.
- Login by entering your UAN and required information.
- After login, you can see information about your PF balance and interest accrued.
2- Information will also be available through missed call and SMS.
If your mobile number is already linked to UAN and KYC is updated then you can get your PF account information even without internet.
- For this, give a missed call to 9966044425 from your registered mobile number.
- Within some time, you will get information related to PF balance on your mobile via SMS.
3- How to know PF balance through SMS?
- First of all go to the message box of the mobile.
- Now type EPFOHO UAN.
- After this send it to 7738299899.
- Now you will get PF balance and account information through SMS.
Note: To use the SMS service, your UAN must be activated and your mobile number must be linked to it.
Please check EPFO passbook again.
If you saw your EPF Passbook a few days ago and interest was not shown in it, then check once again. It is possible that the interest amount may have been updated now as EPFO has started crediting the interest.
4- How and where to see PF passbook?
- Visit the official passbook website of EPFO passbook.epfindia.gov.in.
- Login by entering your UAN and password.
- Select the respective Member ID.
- See the interest information by going to the entry for the year 2025-26 in the passbook or the Interest Credit section.
What to do if interest is not received in PF account?
- If interest is not visible in your PF account even after adopting all the methods, then you can lodge an online complaint on EPFO’s complaint portal.
- For this, visit the official complaint portal of EPFO https://epfigms.gov.in/.
- Enter your UAN and other required information.
- Submit your complaint by describing your problem.
- After registering the complaint, you can also track its status online.
