Sohail Habib was sitting in his room in Saudi Arabia when he checked his phone and saw it. Five numbers. Five out of six. One number stood between him and $4 million. What he got instead was $25,000, and a feeling he says he will never forget.
“I was in my room when I found out that I won. I was too much excited and my family was also very happy. I will try my luck again in the future,” said Habib.
Habib 33-year-old, originally from Pakistan, works as a work permit monitoring officer in Saudi Arabia and supports his wife and two children back home. He started playing Emirates Draw’s EASY6 two months ago after seeing it on social media, at a time when his loans were weighing heavily on him.
“I am playing Emirates Draw for the last 2 months because I have too much loans,” Habibi mentioned. “This win means too much for my family.”
He plans to use the winnings to pay off his loans first, then invest what remains to build steady returns for his family. He also plans to set aside a portion for charity.
