The sun is spewing fire in North India, heat wave is becoming a big problem due to the scorching heat. The mercury is breaking all records, due to which Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave instructions to the people in view of the situation.
In view of the scorching heat, the Chief Minister directed that there should be strong arrangements for protection at every level, be it village or city. The CM said that there should be no unnecessary power cuts in the state, problems like bad transformers, tripping, faults should be resolved immediately.
CM Yogi issued guidelines
CM Yogi has decided to start an awareness campaign among people to deal with the heatwave that is becoming a problem. Due to which CM Yogi said that the general public should be made aware of the symptoms of heatwave and its prevention in the state. Also, it is so hot that most people suffer from water shortage and dehydration, to prevent which CM Yogi has instructed that drinking water arrangements should be made at various places on the road.
Instructions given to take care of animals too
Special care should be taken of the cleanliness of all the religious places of Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura. The Chief Minister has directed that a daily bulletin should be issued from the Relief Commissioner’s office regarding the weather. Work should be done on the heat-wave action plan in zoological parks. The CM also said that there should be proper arrangement of fodder and water for livestock in the cow shelters. In case of illness, immediate medical facilities should be provided to everyone.
CM Yogi put forward 10 important points regarding the heat wave.
- A daily bulletin of weather forecast should be issued from the level of Relief Commissioner’s Office.
- Be it a village or a city, there should not be any unnecessary power cuts. If needed, make arrangements to buy additional power. Solve problems like burning of transformer/falling of wires, tripping.
- Drinking water should be kept at public places in all municipal bodies/rural areas.
- Supply should be ensured through tankers in areas affected by water shortage.
- There is a need to pay special attention to cleanliness. Special attention should be paid to all the religious places like Ayodhya, Kashi, Mathura.
- It is also important to take care of the safety of livestock and wildlife amid the scorching heat.
- There should be proper arrangements to keep livestock farmers safe in case of heat wave. There should be proper arrangement of fodder and water for livestock in cow shelters.
- The general public should be made aware of the symptoms of heat wave and its prevention.
- In case of illness, provide immediate medical care to everyone. People affected by heat wave should be treated immediately in hospitals/medical colleges.
- Water and shade should be arranged in public places. Make the general public aware to keep water and grains in small pots for birds.
