Eknath Shinde elected leader of Shiv Sena faction in Maharashtra, decision taken in legislature party meeting

After the results of Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2024 were announced, a meeting of MLAs of Shiv Sena Shinde faction was held in a hotel in Mumbai today. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also participated in this meeting. Four resolutions were passed in the meeting. The most important proposal was that it was unanimously decided to appoint Eknath Shinde as the leader of the group. Minister Uday Samant moved a proposal to appoint Shinde as the leader of the group. The motion was passed unanimously.

A resolution passed at the meeting said it is no coincidence that a resolution that started 27 months ago has turned into a massive victory in Maharashtra. The whole of Maharashtra is starting a new era today, leaving behind many sweet and sour experiences. In the recently concluded assembly elections, Mahayuti, under the able leadership of prominent party leader Eknath Shinde, won ‘Neither past nor future’. The sound of Grand Alliance victory will echo for a long time.

The motion said, all insults and allegations were left behind.

At the same time, in another proposal it has been said that insults, curses and false allegations have all been left behind. Today everyone feels that the golden era of our Shiv Sena has started. The entire credit for this spectacular success goes to our leader Eknath Shinde. Going forward, every one of us is in the development journey of Maharashtra. Today Maharashtra is looking at us as a leader of workers, an advocate of social justice, an architect of economic justice and a visionary leader who is realizing the dream of modern Maharashtra. The success of the Grand Alliance is a proof of our work.

Mahayuti’s bumper victory in elections

The results of Maharashtra Assembly elections came out on Saturday. In the results, BJP alliance i.e. Mahayuti has got a bumper victory. In the elections, BJP has won 132 seats, Shiv Sena 57 and Ajit Pawar faction’s NCP has won 41 seats. If seen in this way, Mahayuti has been successful in getting 230 seats on its own, which is much more than the majority figure.

At the same time, the opposition Mahavikas Aghadi alliance has had to face a crushing defeat. In the elections, Uddhav faction’s Shiv Sena won 20 seats, Congress 16 and Sharad Pawar faction’s NCP won only 10 seats. If seen this way, the entire team of Mahavikas Aghadi has not even been able to touch the figure of 50 seats.
