Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai on Friday launched water sprinklers to prevent the spread of dust and pollution particles from vehicles.
Gopal Rai said that these 200 sprinkle vehicles will be deployed in all the 70 assemblies of Delhi, especially in the hotpot areas and this campaign will continue for the next 3 months.
Environment Minister Gopal Rai said that Delhi’s pollution had reached AQI more than 350. It was expected that The next day of Diwali, Delhi’s AQI pollution level will cross 400, but he thanks the people for this.
Delhi government took steps to stop pollution
He said that due to the efforts of the people of Delhi, the level of pollution in Delhi has reduced. AQI remains at 360 only. The pollution level was saved from reaching the critical category.
Gopal Rai said that the people of Delhi deserve congratulations for this, although some people burst crackers. He also urges them toThe way the people of Delhi and the government are engaged in saving lives, if they had cooperated, the level of pollution would have reduced further.
Gopal Rai said that BJP governments are also requested to control firecrackers there too, then the level of pollution can be further reduced. Delhi Government will, from today, stop the pollution level from going into the serious category. A special campaign of water sprinkling is being started all over Delhi.
Mobile anti smog gun will be deployed
Two mobile anti-smog guns are being deployed in all 70 assemblies in Delhi. Who will sprinkle water on the roads. Besides, the mobile anti-smog gun will also sprinkle water in the hot spot areas, so that dust pollution can be controlled.
