Its center was 5 kilometers from the earth in Jayadevi of Sundar Nagar in Mandi district. Some time ago, on 23 February too, the land here was trembled due to earthquake.
Earthquake tremors have been felt in Mandi district at 9:18 am on Sunday morning. The intensity of the earthquake was estimated at 3.4 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake is measured five kilometers below the ground. There was a center of earthquake in Jayadevi in Sundar Nagar. At the moment, there is no information of damage from these tremors.
Earthquake also occurred in January
Earlier this year, the tremors of 3.4 magnitude earthquake were felt on 7 January this year. Mandi, Chamba, Kangra, Lahaul and Kullu are included in highly sensitive areas in terms of earthquake.
