NoA boy posing as Kali TTE collected Rs 1200 from passengers traveling without tickets in the train within half an hour. The boy himself made a video of this, which has now gone viral. After this, a big debate has erupted on social media regarding the safety of train travel. This incident took place in Patna Junction, Bihar, where a boy named Shivam Gupta posed as a fake ticket checker and collected ‘fine’ from passengers without tickets. Dressed in a white shirt, black coat and pants like a TTE, Shivam himself told in the video how he did all this.
‘This is not a joke, a big security lapse’
This video was shared by an X (earlier Twitter) handle named ‘Jharkhand Rail Users’, after which it went viral. The caption of the post read, “A boy named Shivam Gupta is checking tickets of passengers wearing TTE dress at Patna Junction.” The post further said that this is not a joke, but a serious matter related to public safety. Such stunts mislead passengers and reduce the credibility of the Railways. Not only this, major accidents can also happen at crowded railway stations. The post demanded an investigation into the matter and necessary action to be taken to prevent such acts in future.

‘Half an hour and Rs 1,200!’
At the beginning of the video, Shivam Gupta says that let’s see how much can be earned by becoming a fake TTE. He then passes by a real Ticket Examiner (TTE) and carefully observes what he is doing. During this time, Railway Police personnel are also seen passing by. Shivam goes to the people standing on the platform and overbridge and asks for tickets. Those who do not have tickets, they pay Rs 100 and Rs 200 and leave. Some people are also seen running away after seeing him. Shivam claimed that he also collected Rs 500 each from those without tickets. Finally, standing on the railway platform, he claimed that he had managed to earn Rs 1200 in just half an hour.
After the video went viral, the demand for action against Shivam Gupta has intensified. Some people raised the question whether this video was shot with the permission of the Railways? Many users wrote that strict action should be taken against this boy who misused the railways for a viral stunt.
