The 2026 Duleep Trophy will enter its business end as the semi-finals begin, with defending champions Central Zone, led by Rajat Patidar, playing Ishan Kishan-led East Zone in one of the games, where all the focus will be on 15-year-old star Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
Meanwhile, North and South Zones will take on each other in the second game.
Both matches will begin on Sunday (August 30) at the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Centre of Excellence (CoE) ground in Bengaluru. The winners of the two games will play each other in the final at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai from 6th September.
By virtue of playing the finals last year, both Central and South Zone’s were given a bye to the semi-final. Meanwhile, East Zone defeated North East Zone by an innings and 210 runs. Meanwhile, North Zone defeated West Zone in a thrilling quarter-final by 52 runs.
