DU CSAS Round 1 Seat Allotment List 2026: There is good news for lakhs of students waiting for admission to graduation (UG) courses in Delhi University (DU). DU CSAS Round 1 Seat Allocation List 2026 has been released today, July 16 at 5 pm. Candidates who had locked their registration process and college-course preferences under the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2026 can now check in which college and in which program they have got a seat by visiting their student dashboard.
How to check DU CSAS Round 1 seat allotment status
- After the release of seat allotment, candidates click on the Candidate Login option on the official DU UG Admission Portal admission.uod.ac.in.
- Now enter CUET UG 2026 Application Number and Password in the required space.
- After logging in, you can see the information about the college and course by clicking on the First Round Allotment Status option given on the dashboard.
- Download the allotment letter and keep it safe for future processes.

What to do after getting DU seat?
If a candidate gets a seat in the first round, he/she will have to choose the option “Accept Allotted Seat” from 5 PM on July 16 to 11:59 PM on July 18. Failure to accept the seat within the stipulated time limit may result in the candidate being out of the further counseling process of CSAS 2026. After accepting the seat, the concerned college will verify the documents of the candidate. If any document or information requires clarification, it will be informed on the candidate’s dashboard. After getting approval from the college, the option to deposit fees online will be active. It will be mandatory to deposit the fees by 11:59 pm on 21st July, only then the provisional admission will be considered complete.

When will DU CSAS 2nd round seat allotment list come out?
After the completion of the first round process, the second seat allotment of DU CSAS will be released on 25th July 2026. This phase will be important for those students who will not get a seat in the first round or want to wait for the next option.
How many applications came for DU Admission 2026?
This time a record number of students have participated in DU CSAS 2026. A total of 2,73,751 candidates did the initial registration, while 2,18,284 students completed the Phase-I profile. Of these, 2,08,043 candidates locked their final college and program preferences. This year, Delhi University has 71,624 seats available for 73 undergraduate programs in 69 colleges and departments. That means on an average about three candidates are contesting for each seat. According to the data, the verified applicants include 55.2 percent girls and 44.8 percent boys.

Based on the simulated rankings, a higher CUET UG score may also be required this time for admission to prestigious North Campus colleges like Miranda House, SRCC and Hindu College.
