Mohanlal’s most awaited film ‘Drishyam 3’ has made a great start at the box office as soon as it was released. This thriller film of Jeethu Joseph received excellent response in all four languages, but the Malayalam version remained at the forefront. Due to strong advance booking, excellent occupancy and positive word of mouth, the film recorded strong earnings on the first day.

Not only Malayalam, its other three versions have also received good response. Still, its original i.e. Malayalam version has made the highest collection. Earlier, this film had received tremendous response in advance booking, due to which the film seems to be doing wonders in the opening.
How much did ‘Drishyam 3’ earn on the first day?
According to trade tracking website sacnilk.com, ‘Drishyam 3’ collected a net collection of approximately Rs 5.73 crore in the country till 5 pm on the first day i.e. Friday. While the gross collection of the film was Rs 6.76 crore. These figures include all four versions of the film. If we talk about version wise collection till 5 pm, it was as follows:-
- Drishyam 3 Malayalam Version: Rs 4.92 crore
- Drishyam 3 Telugu Version: 55 lakh rupees
- Drishyam 3 Tamil Version: 19 lakh rupees
- Drishyam 3 Kannada Movie: 7 lakh rupees
Total collection: Rs 5.73 crore

How was the occupancy of ‘Drishyam 3’?
According to the report till 4 pm, the overall occupancy of ‘Drishyam 3’ was around 46.9 percent. The occupancy of the film was recorded at 59.42% in the morning shows, which increased to 63.83% in the afternoon shows. The occupancy report of evening and night shows is yet to come.
How was the advance booking of ‘Drishyam 3’?
Talking about advance booking on the first day, this film collected Rs 13.14 crore in India. Of this, Rs 11.54 crore was earned by the Malayalam version of the film, while Rs 1.21 crore was earned by the Telugu version, Rs 29.18 lakh by the Tamil version and Rs 9.60 lakh by the Kannada version. Advance booking of this film from overseas market has been Rs 22.13 crore. In this way, the film earned Rs 35.27 crore worldwide from pre-sales business.

Budget and star cast of ‘Drishyam 3’
If reports are to be believed, ‘Drishyam 3’ has been produced with a budget of around Rs 100 crore. The film is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirwad Cinemas. Apart from Mohanlal, actors like Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Siddiqui, Murali Gopi and Veena Nandkumar have worked in the film.
