Don’t come to office, take full salary! Chinese company gave 7 days ‘rainy leave’. Chinese Company Offers Paid Rain Leave Lottery To Employees

Chinese snacks company ‘Mala Wangzi’ has taken a unique initiative for the employees troubled by heavy rains. The company gave 7 days paid ‘rain leave’ to an employee through lottery. Other prizes and late-passes were also given away.

Imagine, it is raining heavily outside and you have to get ready to go to office. How lazy, isn’t it? But what if because of this rain you get leave with salary? It sounds like a dream, but it is a reality in China. A famous Chinese snacks company ‘Mala Wangzi’ has given 7 days paid ‘rain leave’ to one of its employees. The aim of the company was that the employees should not face any problem in traveling during heavy rains.

This company is located in Changsha city of Hunan province of China. This area receives heavy and continuous rainfall from March to June. The employees had complained that there is a lot of difficulty in commuting in the rain. After this the son of the company owner found a unique solution. He himself belongs to the new generation and is the head of online marketing in the company.

The company organized a lottery in which 7 days ‘rain leave’ was also kept as a prize. The lucky winner was selected through this lottery held at the company gate. Apart from leave, employees were also rewarded with items like automatic clothes dryers, rain boots, umbrellas, hair dryers and dehumidifiers. The owner’s son, Zhang, has shared all about it on his social media page ‘Spicy Sunny’.

Not only this, ‘Late-for-work’ passes were also given to ensure that no action is taken against any employee who reaches office late due to rain. “Have you seen a city where it only rains 82 days out of 90? We started this ‘Rain Leave Lottery’ to improve the mood of our employees,” says Zhang.

As soon as this news came on social media, people are praising this company and the boss.
