Why does gas form in the stomach after eating apple?
According to experts, apples are acidic. Its pH level is 3.5 which is higher than other fruits, which means apples are more acidic. If you eat it in the wrong way then you may have bloating or gas problems. Especially people who already have digestive problems, gas is formed after eating everything. It is believed that when a person eats apple on an empty stomach then it can cause constipation and flatulence, so it is always advised to eat it 1 hour after breakfast or after lunch.
Apart from this, apples should never be mixed with dairy products like milk, curd, because apples are acidic and react with lactic acid. Due to which you may also have gas problem.
