Doctor made ‘death report’ of the patient, kept him in deep freezer for 2 hours, came alive in the cremation ground, full story

A surprising case has come to light in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan. Here great negligence of doctors was seen. Doctors declared a patient dead at the district’s largest government Bhagwan Das Khaitan (BDK) hospital. It was kept in the deep freezer for two hours. His body was handed over to the members of the organization along with the post-mortem report. When he was laid on the pyre for the last rites, his body started moving.

He was immediately taken to the same hospital where he was declared dead. Now he is undergoing treatment in the ICU of the hospital. After the matter came to light, there was a stir in the health department. After investigation, suspension action has been taken against negligent doctors. The incident took place on Thursday afternoon at around 1:30 pm. After the incident, three doctors have been suspended for negligence.

Doctors declared him dead after ECG report came back flat.

Banwari, director of Maa Seva Sansthan, said that 25-year-old Rohitash is missing. He was living in the rehabilitation run by the institute for the handicapped since September 2024. When his health deteriorated on Thursday afternoon, he was brought to BDK Hospital. Here the doctors gave him CPR and did his ECG. When the ECG report came back flat, the doctors declared him dead. His body was kept in the mortuary for post-mortem. Rohitash’s body was kept in the deep freezer of the mortuary for about 2 hours.

Laid on the pyre, came alive

According to Banwari, his body was handed over to them after post-mortem at around 5 pm. He took her to the cremation ground for the last rites. Here, when the dead body was laid on the pyre, it started moving, seeing which everyone was shocked. The staff of the organization immediately took him back to BDK Hospital. At 6.24 pm, Rohitash was admitted to the ICU, where his treatment is going on.

Collector ordered investigation

After this matter came to light, the officers of the district were in shock. Collector Ramavtar Meena formed a committee to investigate. On the orders of the Collector, Tehsildar Mahendra Mund, Deputy Director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department Pawan Poonia also reached the hospital. Considering the seriousness of the matter, the meeting of doctors continued till late night in the presence of PMO Dr. Sandeep Pachar in the hospital. After the meeting all the officers returned to the Collector. The meeting continued there also.

Three doctors suspended

In this matter, late night, on the recommendation of District Collector Ramavatar Meena, Chief Government Secretary of Medical and Health Department Nisha Meena suspended BDK Hospital’s PMO Dr. Sandeep Pachar, Dr. Yogesh Kumar Jakhar and Dr. Navneet Meel. Dr. Jakhar is working in Mandela, but as per the working arrangement, he was posted in BDK. During the suspension period, Dr. Pachar has been sent to Headquarters CMHO Office Jaisalmer, Dr. Jakhar has been sent to Headquarters CMHO Office Barmer and Dr. Navneet Meel has been sent to Headquarters CMHO Office Jalore.
