Madhepura DM’s car met with an accident in Madhubani, Bihar. The news of death of 4 people has come to light in the accident, while another person has been injured. Among those killed are said to be 2 NHAI employees including 1 woman and 1 child. After the incident, angry people blocked the highway. Angry people also vandalized it. DM’s accident-stricken vehicle collided with the guardrail on the side of the highway.
After the accident, the police under the leadership of DSP Phulparas is camping at the spot and is looking into the matter. The incident occurred around 8 am on Tuesday morning. Madhepura DM Vijay Prakash Meena’s car met with an accident on Phulparas NH-57. According to information received from sources, when this accident occurred, DM’s Innova vehicle was going from Patna towards Madhepura carrying goods.

According to local people, at around 8 in the morning, NHAI workers were painting white stripes on Phulparas NH-57. Meanwhile, DM’s vehicle was coming from Patna. As soon as the vehicle reached NH 57 (East West Corridor) under Phulparas police station of Madhubani district, suddenly a woman and a child started crossing the road from the other side of the highway.
The driver had tried to save the woman and child
The driver of the DM’s car tried his best to save the woman and child crossing the road but was unsuccessful. The woman and child got hit by the car. NHAI personnel working on the road also got hit by the vehicle. Due to the collision of the vehicle, 4 people died on the spot. In view of the critical condition of one other person injured in the accident, he has been referred from Phulparas Referral Hospital to DMCH for better treatment.
