Disney’s Job Cuts Come Amid Cost Reduction Efforts

In July, the company eliminated several hundred more positions, including Pixar, National Geographic, ESPN, and other corporate functions. In August, Disney offered early-retirement buyout packages to longtime senior executives as part of its broader cost-cutting efforts.
