KC Tyagi has resigned from the post of national spokesperson of Janata Dal United (JDU). The party said that he has resigned from this post citing personal reasons. After the resignation of KC Tyagi, Rajiv Ranjan Prasad has been made the new national spokesperson of JDU.
After Tyagi’s resignation, it is believed that he has been deliberately removed from this post.
Actually, KC Tyagi had given statements on many issues that were against the party line. Due to his statements, there were talks of differences in the NDA. On foreign policy, Tyagi had echoed the views of the leaders of the India Alliance.

At the same time, he signed a joint statement with the leaders of India Alliance to stop the supply of weapons to Israel. He gave a statement on the Supreme Court’s decision on SC-ST reservation without talking to the party. He also gave a statement on the issue of lateral entry.
