Did the fire in the bungalow break out because of the cat? 3 died in agony due to smoke, story of Kanpur fire

The night of Diwali proved to be a dark night for the Shyamdasani family in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. His luxurious bungalow caught fire. In the accident, Sanjay Shyamdasani of the family, his wife Kanika and maid Chhavi died due to suffocation due to smoke. Sanjay Shyamdasani was a well-known businessman of the city.

The Shyamdasani family came to Kanpur about 50 years ago. The head of the family started a small grocery shop, but it could not succeed. Financial constraints forced him to open a puncture shop. After that somehow he started business by taking a small loan and after that there was no looking back. Today the family has other businesses along with the Parle G Biscuit franchise and is counted among the billionaires.

Doors and windows got jammed due to fire

The entire Shyamdasani family lived in the same house. Sanjay lived on the upper floor with his wife, son and maid. On the day of Diwali, the son had gone out with friends and Sanjay went to sleep with his wife. At night, a fire probably broke out from a Diwali lamp which spread to the entire floor. Sanjay had got the wood and false ceiling work done in the house a few days before Diwali. Along with this, the doors and windows were made sound proof and made electronic. Experts believe that due to this, the doors and windows got jammed due to fire and the entire family suffocated inside. The fire spread rapidly due to wood and false ceiling.

Did a cat cause the fire?

After the accident, it is now being investigated how the house caught fire. Sanjay’s family also had a cat, which died in the accident. It is believed that possibly due to the jumping of the cat, the lamp kept in the temple overturned and caught fire. The fire spread rapidly due to the wood and no one could come out due to the electronic doors and windows being jammed. The police have also got the post-mortem done on the cat.

Have ventilation facility in your house

Fire experts believe that there must be ventilation for air in the house. In the pursuit of modernity, people pack their houses with complete AC, due to which their health also deteriorates. During such accidents, even life is in danger. If there was ventilation in the house of the Shyamdasani family and the doors were not electronic, then perhaps the life of the family could have been saved.
