1. Doomsday
Being made under the direction of Jai Mehta, this zombie thriller film with a budget of ₹ 300 crore is being made on a very large scale. Its story is based on Mumbai which has suffered a disaster like ‘Hunger Games’. The shooting of this film will start in Australia later this year and Kalyani Priyadarshan will also play an important role in it. At present the release date of this film has not been announced.

2. Chandragupta Maurya
According to reports, Ranveer Singh is in talks with the makers to play the role of the great emperor Chandragupta Maurya in a grand historical film. Aditya Dhar can direct this film. However, the project is still in the initial planning stage and is yet to be officially announced. At the same time, there are also discussions that Akshay Khanna’s name is coming up for the role of strategist Chanakya in the film. Updates on the film may come out soon.
3.Immortals of Meluhha
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Ranveer Singh can play the role of Lord Shiva in the film series based on writer Amish Tripathi’s popular ‘Shiv Trilogy’. The first book in the trilogy, The Immortals of Meluhha, stars Lord Shiva as a hero destined to change the fate of an ancient civilization. The report also claims that Ranveer Singh has acquired the rights for the film adaptation of this story for a huge amount. However, the actual amount of this deal has not been disclosed. It is being said that the shooting of this film can start by 2028.

4. Simba 2
Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba 2’ is being eagerly awaited. This will be the sequel to his 2018 blockbuster ‘Simmba’, which director Rohit Shetty himself has announced. He had said in April 2025 that sequels of ‘Simmba’ and ‘Sooryavanshi’ (Akshay Kumar starrer) will be made. However, no major development has come forward regarding this yet.
