Dhurandhar Franchise Hits Rs 3,000 Crore Worldwide Gross

Ranveer Singh’s action drama Dhurandhar 2 has achieved a historic milestone at the global box office, crossing the Rs 3,000 crore mark as part of its combined franchise earnings.

The film, which is in its fourth week of theatrical run, continues to show strong momentum despite a natural slowdown in daily collections, cementing its position as one of the most commercially successful Indian film franchises to date.

The film’s domestic performance remains significant, with net collections reported at Rs 1,095.67 crore after 26 days of release. India’s gross earnings stand at Rs 1,311.68 crore, while the overseas market has contributed around Rs 416.25 crore so far. On its 27th day alone, the film added approximately Rs 1 crore from international markets, pushing its worldwide total further upward and keeping its momentum intact.

In its fourth Tuesday performance, Dhurandhar 2 reportedly earned Rs 7.05 crore in India, according to industry tracking data. The film had a massive opening week, collecting Rs 674.17 crore, followed by Rs 263.65 crore in its second week. In its third week, the earnings further slowed to Rs 110.60 crore, reflecting a typical box office decline pattern after an extended theatrical run.

The franchise’s overall success is further boosted by the performance of the first instalment. Dhurandhar and Dhurandhar 2 together have now amassed a combined total of approximately Rs 3,019.35 crore worldwide. This makes it the first Indian film franchise to surpass the Rs 3,000 crore benchmark, overtaking major cinematic universes such as Baahubali and Pushpa in total global earnings.

Industry tracking platforms have noted that Baahubali stands at around Rs 2,438 crore in total franchise earnings, while Pushpa has accumulated approximately Rs 2,092.20 crore. Analysts have described the Dhurandhar milestone as a shift in audience reception toward multi-part storytelling in Indian cinema, with franchise-driven narratives now achieving global-scale commercial success comparable to international film series.

The film, directed as part of the Dhurandhar duology, features Ranveer Singh alongside Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. Released in December 2025, the franchise’s second instalment quickly surpassed the lifetime earnings of its predecessor within 11 days, reinforcing its strong box office trajectory and establishing it as one of the highest-grossing Indian cinematic franchises in history.
