Madhya Pradesh government minister Kailash Vijayvargiya has made a big claim regarding the resignation of former Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He said that on the very first day of the start of the student movement, Dharmendra Pradhan had told the party leadership that if the organization felt that his resignation was needed, then he was ready to step down immediately. This statement of Vijayvargiya has given a new dimension to the political discussion behind the resignation.
‘If the party asked me to leave the post without any delay’
While talking to the media in Indore, Kailash Vijayvargiya said that he has known Dharmendra Pradhan since the time of student politics and his loyalty and dedication to the organization was never questioned. According to him, Pradhan had offered his resignation to the party president on the very first day of the movement. Although the party did not accept it at that time, but later when the leadership took the decision, he resigned from the post without any delay. Vijayvargiya described him as an example of a disciplined worker.

Targeted at foreign conspiracy and opposition
Vijayvargiya claimed that Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation proved to be a move to thwart the strategy of those forces who wanted to create instability in the country through the student movement. He also alleged that some foreign forces were trying to push India into a situation like Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Also targeting the Congress, he said that the opposition tried to give political color to the student movement, whereas it had no real role in the movement. According to him, Congress appeared to be standing with the students only for the purpose of taking political advantage.
