Demand to regularize Delhi’s bus marshals, opposition leader Bijendra Gupta writes letter to CM Atishi

Leader of opposition in Delhi, Bijendra Gupta has written a letter to Chief Minister Atishi. Bijendra Gupta wrote a letter to the Chief Minister demanding regularization of bus marshals. He said that the process of their regularization should be started. A three-member committee should be formed, in which senior officials of transport, administrative reforms and finance departments should be included. He said that a proper report of regularization should be prepared, on the basis of which regularization should be done.

He said that I have written a letter to Chief Minister Atishi demanding to confirm the recruitment of bus marshals and have asked to immediately form 3 personnel committees.

On September 27, a demand was raised in the Assembly to confirm bus marshals and the resolution was passed. On October 5, the BJP legislature party had met the Chief Minister and asked him to start the process of confirming the marshals and on the same day a meeting was also held with the Lieutenant Governor, in which I and Chief Minister Atishi were present.

Demand to form a committee of three high officials

He said that and there it was decided that in order to make the bus marshals permanent, the Chief Minister will form a committee of 3 senior officials of Finance, Administrative Reforms and Transport Department, which will prepare a roadmap for the regularization of the marshals.

He said that then I wrote a letter to Atishi on October 10 and said that you have not yet formed a 3-member committee, form it soon but even after that the committee was not formed.

Vijendra Gupta said that on October 24, the Lieutenant Governor wrote a letter and reminded Atishi that he had not constituted a committee in this matter. If Chief Minister Atishi does not immediately form a committee and start the process of regularization, then BJP will launch a movement on this.

Voice was raised for reinstatement of marshals

Before this he posted on Facebook saying that The struggle of the marshals has been won. We had raised our voice for the reinstatement of Delhi Marshals, who were removed in one fell swoop by the corruption-ridden Aam Aadmi Party government.

He said that the Lieutenant Governor has ordered the Delhi Government to redeploy bus marshals for the next 4 months, so that they can also get employment. Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the Lieutenant Governor for this just and public-friendly decision.

He said that the Kejriwal government had suddenly removed him without any reason. Suddenly an order comes out and overnight 10792 marshals were removed. This is very surprising. He again demanded regularization of bus marshals and their reinstatement.
