Delhi's temperature drops, but when will sweater winter come? Know the prediction here

The weather of the national capital Delhi has started changing. A slight drop in temperature is being recorded. There is a feeling of pink winter in the morning and evening. Also, it is a matter of concern that the air of Delhi does not seem to be improving, due to which people are having problems in breathing. The average air quality index of Delhi was recorded at 360 on Wednesday morning. The most dangerous areas remain Dwarka, Wazirpur, Mundka, Bawana, Jahangirpuri, Ashok Vihar, Rohini. The AQI here was recorded around 400. Delhi government has made a winter action plan to deal with pollution.

According to the Meteorological Department, there has been a slight drop in the maximum temperature in Delhi NCR during the last 24 hours. The maximum temperature in Delhi has been between 29-32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature has been between 14-19 degrees Celsius. At some places in the region, the maximum temperature was 1-2 degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature was 2-3 degrees Celsius above normal. There was mainly fog during the day and the wind speed reached 4 to 6 km per hour. The wind remained calm during the night. There was mainly fog in the area in the morning and the wind speed reached 4-8 km per hour.

Light fog in the morning, clear sky in the afternoon

According to IMD bulletin, the weather will remain clear till November 8. The sky will be mainly clear on Wednesday, 6th November. The predominant surface wind is likely to come from variable directions with wind speed being less than 4 km per hour in the morning. There will be mist or shallow fog in the morning. After this, the wind speed will increase to less than 8 km per hour from variable directions in the afternoon. After this it will decrease and will become less than 4 km per hour from variable directions during evening and night. There is a possibility of fog at night.

Weather will be clear on Thursday

The weather conditions will remain similar on Thursday also. The sky will be mainly clear. The predominant surface wind is likely to come from variable directions with wind speed being less than 4 km per hour in the morning. There will be shallow fog in the morning. During the afternoon the wind speed will gradually increase to 6-8 km per hour. After this it will decrease and will become less than 4 km per hour from variable directions during evening and night.

There will be such weather on 8th November

The sky will remain clear on Friday also. There is a possibility of predominant surface wind from south-east direction with wind speed being less than 04 km per hour in the morning. There will be mist or light fog in the morning. After this the wind speed will increase and in the afternoon it will blow at a speed of 6-8 km per hour with variable directions. During evening and night it will gradually reduce and move in variable directions at a speed of 4-6 km per hour.

Delhi government made winter action plan

Delhi’s air does not seem to be improving. The air quality index continues to be in the poor category. Due to polluted air, people are falling victim to diseases like cough, respiratory disease, cold etc. Due to pollution, elderly people and children have stopped walking in the morning. Regarding the deteriorating air of Delhi, Delhi Government Minister Gopal Rai has said that after Diwali, the Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi and many states of North India remains between 300-400.

According to experts, the AQI level may increase further in the coming days due to drop in temperature and change in weather. To deal with this situation, a meeting was held with 33 departments of Delhi. In this meeting, the work done so far to prevent pollution was reviewed and a strategy was prepared to control pollution by strictly implementing the rules of Winter Action Plan in future.
