Where there was agitation against CAA, permission was not found
Earlier, strict security arrangements were made regarding the padyatra for the Waqf in the Shaheen Bagh of the BJP Minority Front. A large number of Rapid Action Force (RAF) and police were deployed in Shaheen Bagh. However, the place where permission for the padyatra was sought by the Morcha was not allowed to go.
Organizers were insisting on taking out a padyatra at the place in Shaheen Bagh where there was a protest against CAA for several months. There was also a fierce debate between the organizers and the Delhi Police regarding the padyatra.
