According to AIIMS doctors, compared to normal days, there has been an increase in the number of patients suffering from mother-in-law related diseases in Delhi. With an increase of about 30-40 percent, patients are suffering from respiratory diseases. Even today, the air in most areas of Delhi remains in the poor category.

Where is AQI?

According to the Central Pollution Control Board, 338 in Mundka (Bhim Nagar), 309 in Wazirpur, Punjabi Bagh 289, Dwarka Sector-8 269, 291 in Rohini, 297 in RKpur, 306 in Jahangirpur, 309 in Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium, Sonia Vihar. Has 313 AQI. Some of these areas are at ‘very poor category’ and some at ‘poor category’ AQI level.

Where was most of the stubble burnt?

According to the ICAR report, maximum 1749 cases of stubble burning have been reported in Punjab. After Punjab, farmers have burnt stubble at 689 places in Haryana, 849 in Uttar Pradesh and 442 places in Rajasthan. The effect of all this is visible in the air of Delhi. Due to Delhi NCR becoming a polluted gas chamber, people are using masks when going out of their homes.

Most polluted in 8 years

After Diwali celebrations, Delhi’s air is likely to become more poisonous. According to meteorologists, this time the capital may be the most polluted in the last 8 years. Delhi’s air is getting polluted mostly due to stubble burning.
