New Delhi [India], October 25 (Desk): Delhi Police on Friday arrested the female associate of gangster Himanshu Bhau involved in the murder at the Burger King food outlet in west Delhi’s Rajouri Garden.
The accused identified as Annu Dhankar was arrested near the Indo-Nepal border at Lakimpur Kheri in Uttar Pradesh, police said.
In the Rajauri Garden shooting that happened in June, three persons came on a bike to a Burger King outlet. One person remained standing outside on the bike and the two boys went inside the Burger King and fired around 20 to 25 rounds on a person, identified as Aman Joon, from close range. Aman Joon died on the spot.
According to police, accused Anu Dhankar allured the target Aman through social media to be friends with her. On the day of the incident, she called Aman to meet her at Burger King Restaurant and passed the information to the assailants.
Delhi police received inputs on October 24 about the whereabouts of Anu Dhankar. Her movement was reported near the Indo-Nepal border at Lakimpur Kheri, UP. The dedicated team immediately rushed for Lakimpur Kheri, UP, when she was traced and arrested and being brought to Delhi for further proceedings, police said.
In June, Delhi police arrested Bijender, alias Golu. The other two accused Ashih alias Lalu and Vikas alias Vicki were killed in a police encounter in the Sonipat area on July 12.
It is worth noting Himanshu Bhau took the responsibility for the Burger King murder case. (Desk)
