The foundation stone of the new corridor from Indralok to Indraprastha under Delhi Metro Phase-4 was laid. 10 new stations will be built on this 12.30 km long route. This will make travel between Central, Western and Old Delhi easier and will benefit 12 lakh people.
There is good news for the people of Delhi, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta laid the foundation stone of the new metro corridor to be built from Indralok to Indraprastha under Delhi Metro Phase-4 at the Sarai Rohilla Metro Station complex on Thursday. After completion of this project, it will be easier for people traveling between Central Delhi, West Delhi and Old Delhi. They can easily move from one place to another in a short time.
12 lakh people will benefit from this metro project
Let us tell you that this 12 kilometer corridor connectivity will make the travel of millions of citizens faster, safer and more convenient. A total of 10 new metro stations will be built on this 12.30 kilometer long route. In which 11.35 km portion will be underground, while about 1 km portion will be made elevated. Tunnel construction will be the biggest challenge in this project as it passes through densely populated areas. For this, modern technology and special machines will be used so that there is minimal impact on the surrounding population and traffic.
