He said that a massive fire broke out in the 5,000 square yard factory at around 2 am, following which a major fire fighting operation was carried out that lasted for about eight hours.

Fire officer Manish Sherawat said that around 30 fire tenders were deployed to control the fire. “We received information about a fire in a factory at around 2.30 am. It is an area of ​​around 5,000 square yards. The intensity of the fire was very high. A total of around 30 fire tenders reached here and it was a medium grade fire. There are no casualties. The cause of the fire will be investigated after which it will become clear. It took us around 8 hours to control the fire,” he said.

Officials confirmed that there were no injuries in the incident.

Parikrama restaurant also caught fire

Earlier, on June 30, a fire department official said that a massive fire broke out in the kitchen of Parikrama restaurant on Barakhamba Road in the national capital on Tuesday. The incident occurred around 3:40 pm, following which fire tenders were sent to the spot. On reaching the spot, fire brigade personnel found that the fire was caused by the kitchen chimney and oil accumulated inside it.

Fire engines and a special Bronto sky lift were also deployed from a nearby station for rescue operations. The official said that seven fire tenders were sent to the spot and the fire has been brought under control. Delhi Fire Service said there were no casualties.

Speaking to ANI, fire department official Mukesh Verma said, “At 15:40, the fire control room received information about a fire in the kitchen of Parikrama restaurant. Fire engines from the nearby station and our special Bronto sky lift–which has been deployed for rescue operations–were immediately dispatched to the spot; a total of seven vehicles were dispatched. On reaching the spot, fire personnel found that the fire was in the kitchen chimney and the oil accumulated inside it. Was engaged.” (ANI)
